Dear Turbomole users,
a new version of the free graphical user interface TmoleX has been
released. Now there are two versions:
- TmoleX 2.1 (the full version)
contains the serial version of Turbomole and can be used to run jobs
on the local machine as well as starting jobs on remote Linux/Unix
systems.
- TmoleX 2.1 - Client
does not contain Turbomole binaries and can therefore not run jobs
on your local system.
But it can be used to import and/or build structures, generate
(complete) Turbomole input, submit jobs to remote Linux/Unix
systems, and transfer back the results to your desktop.
Since it comes without Turbomole, the Windows, Linux, and MacOS
version of TmoleX 2.1 Client can be downloaded from our web
site:
http://www.cosmologic.de/index.php?cosId=3015&crId=3
TmoleX 2.1 can also submit jobs to a queuing system that runs on a
remote Linux machine. We have tested that feature with PBS, but
technically it should also work with LSF or SGE. Please read the TmoleX
manual to see how this can be done!
Regards,
Your Turbomole Support Team
