Hello,
we are doing some calculations on a large computercluster using the smp and the mpi version of Turbomole 6.3.
I just wounder if i have to specify the $tmpdir in the control-file because with former versions we did not specify a special path and therefore a MPI-TEMPDIR folder was automaticaly generated by turbomole in the runfolder of the cluster.
The question is now:is it nessesary to specify this tmpdir for the smp/mpi version or is it just to give turbomole the posibility of a good "swap" folder??
As far as i understand, if this folder is not specified, turbomole will just write this files in the folder where the calculation is running....
Am i correct??
