Screwer vs Vibration
« on: April 16, 2025, 03:57:42 PM »
Hello,

I have been using Turbomole for calculations and I have been very happy with it. However, I was wondering what is the differnence between Screwer and Vibration. They both seem to do the same thing, which is distort the molecule along a frequency. Is there a benefit to using one over the other?

Thank you.

Hi,

your observation is absolutely correct: screwer is a script which simply calls vibration, it has no functionality other or different or in addition to the vibration tool - except the help text if you call screwer -help

Best Regards
