File Permissions
« on: May 11, 2009, 11:24:04 AM »
Hi everybody,
Since the installation of TM6 we noticed that some modules ignore the system-wide file creation mask when writing output.
umask -S: u=rwx,g=rx,o=rx
But the output files are written with 664 instead of 644 permissions.
aoforce, numforce and define seem not to be affected.
So far I´ve seen the problem with rimp2, ridft and dscf.
I have all my users in a rather large group and don´t like them to be able to write into other people´s files.
Maybe the problem is on my side, but right now I don´t see how. This never happened before. Can this be fixed ?

Thanks and cheers
